There could be a few reasons. It might be low on salt, have a blockage, or the settings may need adjusting. If you're unsure, we can help you identify the issue and get it sorted quickly.
It depends on your water hardness, household size and the model you have, but most people check it every few weeks and top it up when the salt level drops to around a quarter full. Keeping it topped up helps the softener regenerate properly. Not sure what's right for yours? Ask Aqua Genius above.
Low pressure can be caused by a partly closed valve, a clogged filter or cartridge, a blocked softener, or a problem with the mains supply. If only one tap is affected, the issue is usually local to that tap. If it's the whole house, it's worth having your system checked.
Limescale forms when hard water, which is rich in calcium and magnesium, is heated or evaporates and leaves those minerals behind. It builds up in kettles, showers, taps and appliances over time. A water softener removes these minerals before they reach your pipes.
Look for a brand name, model number or part code on the filter housing, the cartridge label or the unit itself. If you can't find one, tap "Tap to scan filter/level" above and send us a photo, and Aqua Genius will help you identify it.

A change in taste or smell can come from a filter that needs replacing, a softener issue, or a change in the mains supply. If you notice a strong or unusual smell, stop drinking the water and contact your water supplier. Otherwise, ask Aqua Genius or book an expert to check your system.
